HISTORY OF USE
Lavender Essential Oil is made by distillation of the flowers. It is generally steam distilled to create a pure, natural essential oil. This essential oil contains the essence of the Lavender plant, which contains many beneficial properties for both health and cosmetic uses. Lavender Essential Oils have been around for many years for natural beauty and cosmetics, dating all the way back to the ancient Egyptians. Greeks also used lavender oils for cosmetic purposes, and the Romans took lavender a step further and used it for a multitude of health and other purposes, including as an insect repellent. Lavender essential oil can also help heal cuts and bruises faster, as well as reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by tightening the skin and help you appear younger and healthier with shiny, smooth skin. It is due to this property that many cosmetic producers are creating more lavender products for your natural and organic beauty and skin needs. Lavender can also help relieve headaches as well as minor muscle aches and pains.
